Shekou Line of Shenzhen Metro (Line 2) in first phase it runs eastward from Chiwan to Window of the World. Shekou Line is now open (December 2010).[1][2]
Shekou Line is the only line in Shenzhen that all stations of it are underground and are in Shenzhen Special Economic Zone.
History
first-stage project
The first-stage project of Shekou Line is from Chiwan to Window of the World, the length of it was 15.514km, and these 12 stations are all underground.
First-stage project of Shekou Line trial operated at December 28, 2010.
second-stage project
The second-stage project is from Window of the World Station to Xinxiu Station, the length of it was 20.65k, and the number of these stations is 17.
At June 28, 2011, second-stage project of Shekou Line started trial operation.
